Daddow-Isaacs American Legion Post 672 will be holding its 75th Memorial Day Parade and Services on Monday May 28, 2012. The parade will begin at 9:00am sharp proceed east on route 415 to the monument in the center of Dallas. Upon completion of a short service the procession will resume NW on Lake Street to East Center Hill Road and then NE into Warden Cemetery. Please come out and support our veterans. |

DALLAS BOROUGH ANNOUNCES THE 2012 SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM
The 2012 Dallas Borough Summer Recreation Program will be held from June 18, 2012 through August 10, 2012. The program is open to resident children of Dallas Borough between the ages of 6 and up to and including 12 years of age at time of registration. A limited number of Dallas Township resident children between the above referenced ages will be admitted based upon availability of registration space.
Registrations for the program will be accepted at the Dallas Borough Administration office located at 25 Main Street on the following dates and times:
Monday-Friday May 21 to May 25 from 9:00am to 4:00 pm.
Saturday May 26 from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Proof of residency will be required at time of registration. There is also an acitvity fee of forty ($40.00) dollars for the first child in a family and an additional Twenty ($20.00) dollars per child thereafter.

Take a walk around the Borough and notice the new banners of our local heros. The Dallas Lions Club project is to give honor to our veterans. The banners are now located on street poles throughout Dallas Borough. The banners were sponsored by family members, organizations and friends. The banners will be on display through Veterans Day. |

Yard Waste Collection 2012 |
Dallas Borough Road Department will begin yard waste curbside collection the week of May 14th 2012. The Borough asks that residents not place their green yard waste containers curbside prior to the beginning of the collection season. As in previous years, the Road Dept. will collect the equivalent of two 25 gallon green recycling containers weekly throughout the season. Containers are to be placed curbside by Monday morning. Yard waste volumes exceeding the two 25 gallon container limit will NOT be collected.
